Theme 2004 - Yūgen no Sekai
Each year, Sensei decides upon a specific theme of study. In 2003, we entered the realm of "Juppō Sesshō" meaning "negociating in ten directions".
Yūgen no Sekai is "the world of elegance". It is about moving at the exact moment when the attacker decides to move but hasn't set into motion yet. To illustrate this concept, we used the Waza of the Kukishin Biken Jutsu, which is why the subtitle of this year was "Roppō Kuji no Biken".
